The Butterlap, so-named due to its silky buttery smoothness, was invented by the legendary bike huckster ira menitove, a man beholden to no one, a man living his own way, a man with a Van. The butterlap is chaperoned by kathryn aaker, the good shepherd of the ride over the millennia.

The butterlap starts at the ferry building, makes several stops to re-group/swill drinks, and finishes (typically) at bender's at s. van ness/19th, where there are seitan 'fish' tacos and delicious beers to be had.

The 2 rules of butterlap

  1. you do NOT talk about butterlap! (not really)
  2. bring good booze
  3. don't be a [jerk]
